- Who cares? He's not searching for bureaucratic fulfillment. He owns a
- modem and would like to know if it is possible to get it to work in a
- given situation.

- My hunch is yes. Try adding X0 (that's a zero, not an oh) to the end of
- the initialization string. That will tell it to ignore the different dial
- tone.
